This is a 2-day school which certifies the successful student for 3-years on the basic armoring of Kimber’s 1911 pistols.  This class covers the function of the 1911, proper fitting of key components, complete function checks, detail stripping and troubleshooting.  Firearms, parts and tools are included for use in the class.  The Kimber 1911 Armorer’s Manual is included in the tuition.  Certification is valid for 3-years.  Total hours: 16.  Tuition: $500 per student.

The Kimber 1911 Operator Instructor Course is for existing firearms instructors that have a need to transition their agency to the Kimber 1911 pistol.  This 3-day course teaches firearm instructors on the proper transition to 1911 pistols including; nomenclature, manual of arms, proper operation, field-stripping, cleaning and lubrication.  Successful students will be required to qualify with the Kimber 1911 as well as pass a written exam.  Students must provide their own Kimber 1911 pistol, duty gear and a minimum of 1000 rounds of duty ammunition.  A Kimber 1911 Pistol Operator Instructor Workbook is included in the tuition.  Certification is valid for 3-years.  Total hours: 24.  Tuition: $750 per student.

This 3-day course is a combination of an Armorer’s School and Rifle Marksmanship Course with the Kimber Tactical Rifles.  Students will be instructed on the proper maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the Kimber Tactical Rifles.  Additionally, classroom and range time will be dedicated to safety, basic marksmanship, shooting positions and range data.  Students must provide their own rifle and 160 rounds of ammunition.  A Kimber Tactical Rifle Armorer’s Manual and a Kimber Tactical Rifle Workbook are included in the tuition.  Certification is valid for 3-years.  Total hours: 24.  Tuition: $750 per student.
