Model 8400 Tactical and Model 8400 Advanced Tactical rifles are built by hand in limited quantities. Each features a trued bolt face, hand-finished chamber, hand-lapped lugs, custom glass bedding and a McMillan stock.  The Model 8400 Advanced Tactical is finished in Desert Tan KimPro II for superior resistance to the elements.

Kimber tactical rifles feature extended bolt handles with enlarged knobs to aid operation under stress or with gloved hands. Triggers are match grade. Floorplate release buttons are inside the trigger guard.

Full-length Mauser claw extractor ensures true controlled round feeding and extraction for unequaled dependability. The 3-position wing safety is positive, quiet and fast into action.
